BE NOT PROUD

Proverbs 28 v 25. “He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife.”
Dear friends, this short verse is actually an eye opener as strife is shown as that of one who has pride dwelling within even though one may be saved and serving the Lord!
As you take time to reflect on this, it has the ability to reveal that the person who believes they are above or superior to others feel they have the right to be contentious and so stir up trouble.
Strife is a work of the flesh which can bring about divisions instead of binding people together in harmony and love. The fruit of the Spirit is not that of strife but rather gentleness, long suffering, peace etc.
Withdraw from conversations and the company of those looking to gratify their own inner unhealed issues by bringing in discord. Be true rather to the new man in Christ Jesus which we are to put on daily.
We no longer need to add fuel to another’s fire by breaking people down so let us instead lift them up, realising that we too, need the grace, love and mercy of the Lord for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God!
Without His gift of salvation, His amazing grace and understanding we would be lost therefore do not revert back to the ways of strife but be instead the messenger of divine love.

BE YE HOLY
By
June Potter
“Be ye holy; for I am the Lord your God.” Lev. 20 v 7. Unable maybe at times to withstand the call of the flesh, so the tides of temptation have lashed out with severe consequences leaving you devastated at how weak and unable you actually are to overcome the cry of internal humanity still to sin which leads to that of destruction in various ways. Holiness is so far beyond the ability of man in his own strength to take hold of, for within him lies the curse of sin from the moment of conception. Crawling from the miry clay with the inner knowledge that to sin after knowing and experiencing His divine love of sacrifice on the cross, so our spirit man grieves on a continual basis. If only holiness was that of automatically waving a magic wand; that of being able to take hold and wear as an easy garment! Yet with undeserved compassion He reveals that it is an ongoing decision to be holy as He is holy. It is that of a longing deep within to bow in obedience to the call of righteousness instead of to the call to cover oneself with the ongoing filth of man gone astray from the all-knowing heavenly Father. Day by day; moment by moment we should have on the new man thus conforming to His Image. This understanding takes place through the continual studying of His Word realising just who and what we are in Him and so putting it into practice. Remember His strength is made perfect in weakness which will bring about a cleanliness of body, mind and spirit and this attitude and desire to know more of Him and His ways will enable us to converse with Him on a daily basis due to the inner freedom we are now experiencing. The joy of staying close to His side surely outweighs that of hiding from the written truth of His Word that we are to be holy as He is holy!
Be blessed dear friends.

You ARE Holy - Friends we cannot and dare not walk in the way of God and not be challenged to a walk on the Higher Plane of Holiness. We live in a WORLD of PERMISSIONS set up by IMMORAL people with desires not of God. We are or should be different as we choose to take on the Cloak of Holiness.
CAST NOT YOUR PEARLS BEFORE SWINE
By
June Potter
“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, least they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” Matt.7 v 6. Maybe you feel unsure of this particular verse, dear friends, as most times we are encouraged to share the Gospel and our experiences of the Lord with others? Yes, this is true but there comes a time when we are to walk away from those who berate us and mock our love for the Godhead and all that has been done for us. To those who do not know the truth of salvation, what we share is meaningless! It honestly has no value and most times they become rude and highly disrespectful towards us and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. However, what about those who do know the ways of the Lord yet they have taken on a different covering due to been led astray by false teachings and even the worship of idols? In our zeal to see them turn back to the Scriptures and the Truth of the Gospel, we keep on bringing up various verses that show they have gone above and beyond what is written. Plus the Lord warns us not to add to the Word or to remove anything that is written. Nothing is more heart breaking or frustrating as that of having the Gospel thrown back at us but now in disdain and also that of been told we do not know the truth that they have found! We have entered into a situation of having given that which is holy to the dogs plus we are casting our pearls before swine! Yes, it sounds horrible but the truth is, it is a horrible situation and all we can do is pray and trust the Lord in faith that He will enlighten those who are now walking in a completely different realm to us. In Eph. 5 v 6 it says that we must not let any man deceive us with vain words, thus causing us to depart from the truth of His written Word as this brings the wrath of God upon us. It is so easy to be led astray if we are unsure of what is written in the Word of God and especially if we have not studied for ourselves. Often times, we find ourselves in a situation where it is someone we love and respect who has suddenly become like a stranger to us due to now believing what others are saying and teaching thus bringing a division between us. In Deut. 11 v 28 it says we are not to go after other gods- that which is not of the Lord for then there is a penalty which brings forth a curse in your life. We need to cast aside all that would lead us to disobedience. Right now you could be thinking “But God is a God of love, He will not be so upset if we travel on a new and even more exciting path than what we have learnt!” Dear friends, of course He will be upset and yes He will try and bring you back onto the correct path by various and different means but if you are in rebellion through a choice of your will, thus refusing to hear His voice then it says in 1 Sam. 12 v 15 that His hand is against you. Now let us realise and be at peace with the whole truth of the Word and that is He is most definitely a God of love; a God who is compassionate and full of tender mercies. He is long suffering and slow to anger but He is also a righteous God who deals with falsehood and deception. He also sees to it that we are chastised. He reveals Himself as Almighty; the One who reigns supreme and is the ruler of all. He tells us that obedience brings with it blessings from Him. Why is that? Because in Ex. 19 v 5 it says that “…all the earth is His.” Now, this being true, He is able to bless whosoever He chooses and all due to us being obedient to what is written! In Psm. 92 v 12 it tells us “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree…” Therefore let us not be amongst those who have departed from the truth of the written Word thus refusing to hear when others speak because of an inward desire to help. Let us not be those who now despise what is the true way. Be wise friends. Know when to share with those who have turned away as “A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand this.” They have been deceived; pray for them; love them but do not be degraded or brought low in your service for the Lord.
Be blessed.

HIS ALMIGHTY POWER TO DELIVER
By
June Potter
He gives us beauty for ashes; the oil of joy for mourning; the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. As children of the Lord; having accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we are indeed so wonderfully cared for; so graciously loved and never left alone and without.
It is one thing to hear of the grace of the Lord but entirely another to experience it for oneself. When we are born again and want to follow after the Lord and step out in faith, bit by bit we will learn and taste that the Lord is good and always true to His Word. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us and even when we stumble and make mistakes, He still encourages us to go on. What is beauty for ashes? What does it mean to us as individuals?
I am sure if you do know the Lord and look back, you will recall the times He saw you through dark moments in your walk. Personally I have been through so many traumatic times; times when I thought it would be impossible to see anything of beauty again in my life.
We lived in Cape Town for five years and had been led there by the Lord Himself. I went through one of the darkest moments of my life; mentally; physically and emotionally. So often we make mistakes and u turn when actually we should have continued on the straight highway we were originally on. Due to allowing people in my life that I should have closed the door on, I was thrown into one of the darkest pits ever experienced. Ashes; all became ashes.
I was burnt and broken and had reached the point where I was willing to do drastic things in order to be free from this person. To cut to the chase, I saw only disaster; experienced only pain inwardly and physically and the fear was so great that I hardly ever relaxed or slept. No one must know the truth. I hid all things away; put on a brave face and kept on.
Praying and praying; actually I talk to the Lord as I do to all other people, I asked for Him to intervene. When things could get no worse, for I was on the edge of a nervous breakdown plus had nearly died in hospital due to the surgeon been intoxicated when he operated on me, the Lord undertook and bit by bit my days of torment and fear were closed down. For a very long time there was no beauty in my world for true beauty comes from within the heart and is not simply those amazing things around you.
As healing of my own spirit and soul took place; as fear of various things began to subside so the ashes were blown away by time, love and acceptance of self. Beauty of thought; of hope; of coming to terms with my own human misguided ways; of my surroundings began to flood my inner being once more and I comprehended the unconditional love and power of Jesus my Lord.
He truly gives us beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for mourning; oh Lord, how we all need that oil; that anointing that breaks the yoke. Have you felt that it is impossible to be joyful? Joy though is different, I believe, to feeling happy. We are happy when life is going well; when we receive an unexpected gift that we really wanted etc.
It is based on that “good” inner feeling that can last at times only for a short while. Happiness is but for a moment until some other horrible, disliked situation takes place then we are no longer happy. Joy however is one of the fruits of the Spirit and you don’t do anything to force it to work; to be there; it is yours already given by the Lord. My first baby was born at seven months due to my appendix bursting whilst pregnant.
The Lord was utterly gracious and spared my life even though the poison went through out my body and damaged organs on its dreadful journey. I had major surgery and the baby and I lived through it although I was still dreadfully ill and never fully recovered. Pain and been in and out of hospital; put in ice to bring my temperature down etc became my life. At seven months Hazel was born naturally even though I was full of new cuts and scars and in agony.
No breathing was detected. When she was brought to life we were rushed to a maternity hospital in the ambulance and Hazel had oxygen all the way. She weighed a mere 2 pounds in those days. No incubator was given to her; no nurse or matron covered themselves when dealing with her and my sister had to put her in a hospital bedpan in her small car and take her to the then Children’s hospital.
On arrival she stopped breathing. For ten days she survived and grew in the incubator there but choked to death on milk due to no nurse been with her. When I finally fell pregnant years later after operations to fix my body up due to the poison, the Lord showed me that I was having twins. Actually, this word of knowledge came before I fell pregnant.
After fainting with pain, bleeding and been so ill yet again, the Dr found one baby was in the tube but growing normally and the other in the womb. He had to remove both and the ovary so I was now worse off then ever. Broken with grief and questions, He flooded my entire being with this most amazing joy. As the oil of joy for mourning enveloped my suffering in all areas, His gentle presence and beautiful love brought calmness and peace to my fragile and delicate body, soul and spirit. No human touch; no human love could heal but His pure oil of joy touched deep down into every part and mourning was forced to bow its knees in submission to the King.
Wrap yourself my dear friend in the garment of praise for in so doing you will experience that the heaviness brought on by worldly situations; by hurts; depression due to circumstances will fade away and in its place peace and faith will once again rise within your heart and spirit. That is impossible you may say but truly it is completely possible and I have seen it to be true in my own life and walk with my Lord.
When we accept Him, our spirit is born again but our mind needs to be renewed by His Word. That is why we study; and then see that what He has promised us, we can be, if we allow His grace to fill our hearts. We are no longer in the kingdom of darkness but now we are His children and our kingdom is the kingdom of light where He rules and reigns.
Put on the new man and in so doing we will walk in the spirit and not the flesh. When we are in a difficult situation and all we want to do is moan and groan and end up becoming depressed then start, in faith, to praise the Lord. Yes, it is hard for the flesh is weak but as you begin to praise and thank Him for your salvation; your food; your home; your health; your ability to do normal every day things, the Holy Spirit flows through you and you find yourself so grateful; so thankful.
His love becomes known even more in that moment and the spirit of heaviness leaves. Take note, it is called a spirit. It is not within you but attacks from the outside. It has attacked you maybe unawares and you may have taken it as your own personal feelings about a given situation.
As you praise Him for even the smallest of things so the Word says He inhabits the praises of His people. He is right there even if at first it may not feel like it but we don’t go on what we feel but on what is written.
Thank you precious Lord for undertaking in every area of our lives. We give You all the glory and honour.
Be blessed for you are loved.

DEFILEMENT
By
June Potter
Matthew 15 v 11-20. “Not what enters into the mouth defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.” Then the disciples came and said to Him. “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this statement?” But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant shall be rooted up.
Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” And Peter answered and said to Him, “Explain the parable to us.” And He said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is eliminated?
But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders.
These are the things which defile the man.” How often have we been in the company of various people and we have felt a strangeness coming forth from one or another or we may have experienced a feeling that a particular person has an unclean spirit?
There may have even been times when we suddenly felt angry for no apparent reason yet we knew that within ourselves we had no reason for any of this which was taking place. Or when visiting a friend’s home we felt a wonderful sense of peace and even love abiding in the atmosphere.
Discernment is a gift given and operates as the Holy Spirit brings it to pass, therefore when experiencing a defiling spirit coming forth from something or someone, there is no need to feel anxious and afraid, believing that in future you should never mix with others, especially unsaved people.
Rather, ask the Holy Spirit what you should do concerning the given situation? Maybe you need to pray quietly within and if told to come up against an unclean spirit, for example, then do so. In times past the Hebrew people were very much aware of defilements, in fact too much aware! Old Testament law mentions many things which defiled plus what to do about them.
However not all are repeated in the New Testament, which ought to tell us something! For instance, many foods defiled (Lev.11) Giving birth defiled. (Lev. 12) Some diseases made people unclean. (Lev. 13) Accidental or purposeful ejaculation defiled and so did women’s menstrual periods. (Lev.v 15) Immorality, idols, touching dead bodies; hundreds of things defiled.
The Lord Jesus found Pharisees performing four hundred absolutions a day just to wash away defilements. The word “kosher” comes from those days of careful washings and preparations designed to avoid defilement. Then we have Simon the Pharisee who was convinced that Jesus was no prophet or He would have prohibited that woman of ill repute from defiling Him by touching His feet. Luke 7 v 36-50.
Jesus countered this by letting His disciples eat with unwashed hands and by teaching directly what has been shown above in Matthew 15 v 11-20. Once and for all Jesus did away with exterior fears of defilement and consequent rituals to cleanse. No Christian need fear defilement from outside by things!
But He retained warnings of inner defilements “…out of the heart come evil thoughts etc” These inner ways we have hidden deep within, these are the things that defile a person. We may experience a fleshly transference from being in the company of someone who constantly swears, for example, and suddenly we find we, too, are going about uttering ugly swear words!
Repent there and then, on the spot, and ask the Lord to please remove this transference from you. He will if you are sincere. We are in the world but not part of it thus we will experience weird and unusual things from time to time but we need not fear and hide ourselves away!
Greater is He that is within us, than he that is in the world. Just be wise, discern by the leading of the Holy Spirit and if you need to be bold in a particular situation then speak forth in love.
Be blessed friends and know that we serve an amazing and wonderful Lord who cares about our spiritual growth thus always able to overcome.

THERE IS A GENERATION.
By
June Potter
Prov. 30 v 12 says “There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes and yet is not washed from their own filthiness.” If we really examine the generations of the last while, we will come to the conclusion that never before have we seen and heard such unclean statements pouring forth from their mouths plus that of being forced to endure so called truths that definitely do not come from the Lord and His written Word!
We serve a Lord who forever stays the same and whose Word is that of final authority. No human being can decide or change what has been written for if he does add or subtract from the Bible then he brings himself under a curse. Heaven and earth shall pass away but His Word endures forever! Sad but true; man has decided that you get many different types of human beings but the Bible tells us that the Lord made a male and a female. And in His Image did He creature them.
The world has not the Spirit of the Lord and the Holy Spirit does not dwell within those who are being led by the spirit of the world. To declare oneself as pure, one has to have forsaken the world and all the filth that comes with it and has realised that one is a lost sinner, on their way to hell thus needing to repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and so begin a new life following after Him and what is written in the Word of God.
Nothing in the world is pure for the evil one continually deceives and entices those who follow after their flesh. In fact they are rebelling against the way of the Lord because they choose to believe the father of all lies; satan! So now what? Do we just sit back and encourage these lost souls to continue their way forward believing a lie that all is well with their soul and they can do as they please?
Of course we need to be led by the unction of the Holy Spirit when trying to minister to those who believe in that which is completely opposite to what the Lord speaks of. But in today’s generation, everything and anything goes and one has to just accept what is happening! In Deut. 32 v 5 it says. “They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of His children, they are a perverse and crooked generation.” This is a blunt and in your face Scripture verse.
People of this generation need to search their hearts and instead of complaining against the past evils perpetrated, look in the mirror and realise that most times they have corrupted themselves due to walking away from the truth of the Gospel and living a life of self indulgence, self will, pride and arrogance and the lust of the eye.
This may sound harsh and one may become upset but if we consider how the world has become and those participating in all that is evil to mankind in general due to wanting to savour gratification of self indulgence in unclean, forbidden areas, then we will see and understand that the Lord…The Great I Am is displeased and warns one of the consequences of sowing to the flesh.
To walk in the flesh, one will eventually die. How you may ask? Sin brings with it spiritual death in the end and one becomes separated from the way of the Lord. If you are perverting the right ways of the Lord, acting out in mischief and full of unclean lust, you are then the enemy of all righteousness. John 8 v 44 and Acts 13 v 10.
We are instead to be filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Phil.1 v 11. We can only bring forth fruits of righteousness if we are one with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are told to “Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil.” Isaiah 1 v16. Rom. 6 v 12 tells us “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body…”
Remember all have sinned but to be free from walking continually in sin, one needs to be born again and renewed in his spirit by the Word of God or else you will continually experience fleshly lusts warring against your soul. The Lord would warn us that if we love evil more than good; if we love lying rather than speaking righteousness; if we delight in the frowardness of the wickedness and walk together with them, then the Lord will send us strong delusions that we shall believe a lie! 2 Thes. 2 v 12.
Dear friends, let us grasp and understand that although man, of whatever age, thinks he has the inward power to exalt himself above the Lord, he does not! Yes, we are in this world but we are not of it.
He is grieved by that which has taken hold of mankind in general. We are not to bow down to that of evil. Love those that are blinded by the god of this world, satan, but stand for Truth, His Truth, the written Word.
He will in His time bring all these ways of darkness to an end for He is the Light and nothing compares to Him. Pray for those whose eyes are now covered by a spirit of delusion and know that in and through Him, we are victorious!
Greetings

OUR GOOD WORKS
By
June Potter
What exactly is good works?
It is that of your faith in action by doing whatsoever He has laid on your heart, whether it be a giving of a gift so as to brighten up someone’s day; a loaf of bread to a hungry soul in need or buying them food and things they are in need of.
All of these things and more have a purpose and that is to bring glory and honour to the Lord. Our good works are not to be done so as to give us a pat on the back thus revealing to one and all that we are a kind and good person.
These actions taken are meant to show forth the love of Jesus residing within you by His Spirit thus giving an inward desire to others to also reach out as led. James 2 v 17 says “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” 1 Tim. 6 v 18 tells us to be rich in good works and Matt.5 v 16 shows us that as our light shines before men and they see our good works so all glory will be given to our Father in heaven.
How do we become so free within our spirit man that we are able to reach out and in faith give as He has laid on our hearts? It is one thing to sit back and think about giving but it is entirely different to have complete faith in His ability to provide us with the excitement and inner peace in giving, especially when beyond our means!
We really need to know Him in all His glorious splendour, mercy and love. This comes about as we seek after Him in spirit and in truth; the Truth of His written Word that will never change! Heaven and earth will pass away but His Word will remain forever.
Understanding the price He paid for our salvation; the reconciliation we now have with our heavenly Father and the inner truth that we are now one with Jesus Christ as He is one with the Father; due to being born again and a new creature in Him, is such, that it will bring about His peace deep within, for we have departed from evil and pursued peace. Psm.34 v 14.
Now we are also able to love our enemies as is instructed in Luke 6 v 35 and so do good unto them. Good works of course do not bring about our salvation, only Jesus Christ’s shed blood on the Cross has this divine ability when we are born again and washed in it by true repentance, but our good works do reveal our faith walk.
An example given of this is that of Matt. 25 v 35 and 36. “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in. Naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” When in ministry, I was giving the opportunity to visit a man in prison along with the pastor of the church I belonged to.
Seeing this man locked behind bars, unable to basically do anything for himself but reliant on the rules of those in charge, I came to the conclusion that freedom is not something you want to have removed from you! Our short visit brought with it hope and a thankfulness of heart due to knowing someone cared.
If you know of someone who is in prison within themselves and they feel they have no way out for whatever reason, then make an effort to visi!!!!
REMEMBER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WORKS DONE FOR SELF GLORIFICATION AND AN EGO TRIP IS BUT DEAD WORKS AND A STENCH TO GOD. OUR HEARTS CAN BE SO DECEITFUL AND WE SEEK THE GLORY OF MAN ALL FOR SELF GAIN>
Whatever we do, do it heartily as UNTO THE LORD
THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHERN.
By
June Potter
John wrote to his “little children” of the assurance of the forgiveness of sins. In one sense we are always, in John’s term, little children, for in this life we never advance to a point where we have left behind our need for the precious Blood. It is indeed the very first weapon for the overcomer.
Writing in Revelation 12 of the accuser of the brethren “which accuseth them before our God day and night”, John tells us that “they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony and they loved not their life even unto death.” Verses 10 and 11.
The basis of overcoming in spiritual warfare is always the precious Blood. No one can ever get to the place where the Blood is not necessary. Satan is a murderer and a deceiver, he entices and he attacks, but he also specializes in accusing. In a very real sense he is the Accuser of the brethren and it is here that our Lord meets him as Priest and Mediator.
Heaven recognizes satan’s work and so must every Christian. Night and day he accuses us and his accusation is at our conscience, which is the point where we most feel we lack the strength to fight him. His objective is to drive us to think in despair “Of what possible use am I to the Lord?” Why are some Christians found from morning to night reproaching themselves and crying “I am a hopeless failure.
The Lord can do nothing with me.” It is because they have allowed themselves to accept the charges of the enemy as unanswerable. And if he can get us to this state, he is indeed the victor, for we have given the battle away. If instead of looking at the glory of God, we only accept his accusations and stop there, we are certainly left with no power to fight him.
Conscience is a very precious thing, but to repeat endlessly, “I am no good”, that is not Christian humility. It is healthy to confess our sins but let us never carry confession to the point where, for us, our sinfulness looms larger than the work of Jesus Christ. The devil knows there is no weapon more effective against the Christian than the creation of this illusion.
What is the remedy? It is to say to the Lord, “Lord I am no good” but then to look away to His precious Blood and to add “But Lord I am abiding in Thee.” Satan does not accuse without reason. There are, no doubt, plenty of sins to which he can point us; but the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.
Do we believe that? Then it is an answer to his charge. Sin calls for the Blood but the Bible does not tell us that sin calls for accusation- not, that is to say, if we plead guilty. Of course, if we say we have no sin, John warns us that the door is then wide open to the accuser.
But if standing in the light of God, we confess to Him our guilt, then the Blood is powerful to cleanse and all satan’s charges are rendered ineffective. Praise the Lord for such an Advocate. Praise Him for such a Priest. Let us never answer satan either by boasting our good conduct or by bemoaning our sins, but always and only by the Blood.
It is our only sufficient defence. The precious Blood of Christ is our defence; the word of our testimony is our weapon of attack. By this is meant our testimony to man but not to man alone. The victory of Christ, the fact that He reigns, that His Kingdom is near, that we have been translated from satan’s kingdom into His; all these are facts to be declared, not to men only but to the powers of darkness.
Affirm that God is King, that His Son is Victor, that satan is defeated, that the kingdoms of this world are shortly to become the Kingdom of our God and of His Christ. These are positive divine facts and they are shafts of offence. Satan fears such declarations of spiritual fact.
For the word of our testimony can move back the gates of hell. Declare that Jesus is Lord; that His Name is above every name. Declare it and say it to the enemy. We serve an all powerful Lord, one who is on our side and wants the very best for us as we yield in faith to all that He says in His Word.
We are not meant to be under the fear and terror of the enemy of the Cross but rather to arise IN Him and be as He has made us…a conqueror. May we submit our lives in every area thus leaving no open door for satan to get in.
Let us serve this amazing Lord and bring His light and everlasting love to all who are lost or have fallen away. Jesus is Lord and you are His beloved child. xxxx

SOWING AND REAPING.
By
June Potter
Hello dear friends, I would like to share something with you that the Lord in His graciousness gave me when a friend came to me concerning a dream she had.
For a long time now, the Holy Spirit has enabled me to interpret many dreams of those who desire to know more of what the Lord shares with them when their minds are still whilst asleep.
No, there is nothing wrong or “bad” about this as if you go through His Word you will find for yourself how many, many times the Lord warned; gave insight etc to people through the guidance of dreams.
In fact a few years back I did write an article concerning this and it was from Scripture itself. The way to understand what the Lord is saying in a dream is to first write down what has been dreamt and then, with the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit, go to His Word and find out exactly what He is informing you of.
The Bible is full of symbolic meanings plus direct speech straight from the Lord. Often we, as His children, are so busy in the day, that even though we may spend time with Him in prayer, our thoughts and minds are elsewhere. It is when we are asleep and our minds become still that He shares various things with us.
Please be encouraged by how amazing, long suffering and wise is the Lord when giving instruction, wisdom and knowledge to those who desire to know more of Him in His majestic power! What I am sharing could be and actually is a word for all of us to take note of.
Many are deceived, many of His children, for they believe that is does not matter what they sow as long as they are sincere! This is definitely not good advice for any farmer! Self life will never produce the fruit of the Spirit. “Sowing” and “reaping” are agricultural terms and a Christian worker is not likened to a salesman or a mechanic, but to a farmer.
Christian work is not buying and selling, but sowing and reaping. When dealing with people; hurting, lost souls we are not acting as mechanics trying to fix over run- down lives but we are to plant the ever living Word of the Lord which is the ultimate and only Truth.
All of us need to make sure that what we are planting is that of the Spirit; His Word, so that when times of great trials and sorrows arrive, the Holy Spirit is able to draw forth that which is deep within our hearts and so bring it back to remembrance thus encouraging us and enabling us to go forward in faith without fear.
By planting the correct seeds due to studying and learning from His Word so we build a solid foundation that even when others try and add false doctrine or their own thoughts onto it, we shall be safe for we know in whom we believe and trust.
If we sow to the Spirit, we shall reap a spiritual harvest, however if we sow to the flesh (the lower appetites), we shall reap moral weakness. Thus the Scripture verse “A man reaps what he sows” Gal. 6 v 7. Every man shall receive his own reward according to his labour, therefore make sure you have the correct attitude and motive in all you do.
Because of all that Jesus did we are now under grace and in a love relationship, therefore judge correctly what is that of Light; that which comes from Him, and that which is darkness; coming forth from the evil one.
The harvest will not be according to how much we know, but rather how much we sow! We may have a large supply of seed in the barn of our mind(our inner thoughts) but unless it is planted in suitable soil and takes root, it will bear no harvest. Therefore sow those seeds of thoughts in word and in deeds done.
His Word always brings forth seed after its own kind. Sow the seeds of your life in the soil of the Spirit, not the soil of the flesh. When in the Spirit it will honour the Lord, but when in the flesh the seed will rot and bring forth corruption. The Spirit brings forth only good fruit, the flesh unfortunately only that of evil. In Him, we are “a new creation” Gal. 6 v 15.
We have a new life now because we have been planted by the Lord so as to bring glory to Him. Just as Jesus was one with the Father so we are now one with Him and co-operate by being humble before Him and in all we do thus showing honour to Him in all things.
Remember, the one thing that distinguishes our Christian faith from all others is the grace of the Lord. Grace is unmerited favour of God to us when we were and are undeserving! Law on the other hand shows us our need but grace shows His provision to meet that need.
The Spirit gives us daily victory over sin but the flesh makes us prone to sin. Let us put on the attitude of stability which causes us to be able to walk in the Spirit and not that of the flesh thus able to bring about change in others when they behold our way of sowing.
Is it not of greater value to reap a spiritual harvest of immense value in this lifetime we are in, rather than that of destruction, grief and inner turmoil? Be a farmer dear friends and reap the most beautiful crops thus bringing Light into this dark world.

WE NEED LIKE NEVER BEFORE TO SOW THE WORD OF GOD TO BRING:
REPENTANCE
OBEDIENCE
TRUTH
HOPE
BUILDING ONE ANOTHER
ENCOURAGEMENT IN A VERY DARK WORLD
TIME TO AWAKE
By

Although the forces of darkness are all around, we as His children, stand on the wall, watch and bring forth the truth…In Him we move and live; we are standing on solid ground. He is the One in whom we can trust. No other has the ability to save and defend us from the evil of these last days.
Call those that sleep; that are too busy with their fleshly lusts and warn them to heed the day at hand. Unseen foes are crossing the rivers; moving over the mountains; storming the open gates of mankind’s minds. Spirits of destruction; greed and the intense desire to be seen and acknowledged as gods are on the loose.
Through out the world the call has being given…serve and bow down to the father of all lies; the enemy of the Cross. The time has come to store up the truth of His written Word in hearts ready for the final hour. As darkness covers the beauty and priceless gift of eternal grace so the leading of the Holy Spirit will be essential for to know Him in His glorious power and strength will be such that years of training in His Divine army will have impacted lives in love with Him, the only true King.
Arise warriors of the Word; the Blood is forever flowing and it is only that pure Blood that defeated the enemy. Every demon was present when they tortured Him. They watched Him die. When He freely gave Himself so that we could be free, they knew their moment; their time had ceased to be.
Take hold of the thoughts filling your mind for with sly evil intent the ugliness of this ungodly world longs to seize what has been opened to him. The sun will cease to shine when the clouds of wickedness cover their rays due to slumbering in this critical time.
Man and his ways of whispering in the darkness, not wanting others to know their plans of utter destruction, do not realize that the great I Am is always present and listens in on every conversation. Country upon country is over ridden with false truth and His children are sleeping.
Wake up; take note of all the hidden danger around but to understand and see, one will have to be shown through His eyes…the inner eye of your spirit. What is seen is not what it appears…what is prophesied is the delusion of the flesh. Prayer is the voice of those revealing the cry of their inner spirit to the Spirit of the One true Lord…Jesus Christ. Nothing has true meaning now for the new dawn is upon us.
The dawning of the false new age world. With tentacles unseen so she has spread her way into cities and nations, filling the deluded minds of false leaders put into place by those ruling through the powers of darkness. Only as one hears His voice of truth can one put aside the rules and false beliefs of distorted Christianity gone astray and focus on what is written. Change has come but most are blind.
Now is the time to walk in the truth of a real relationship with the Lord of Lords. Now is the time to be alert and open to hear His voice so as to know how and what to pray. The enemy is all around and for His children he longs for one thing only and that is to steer them off the true pathway of repentance, deliverance from the evil of this present world and the bringing in of false doctrine. Stand and be accounted for; remove the rose tinted spectacles and see as He sees.
Prepare your heart, prepare your mind and engage in the spiritual war that is already focusing on those so easily been tossed into the sea of slumber. Victory is known to those who follow after the Way, the Truth and the Life yet with Truth comes the harsh reality of being targeted by our enemies. Watch and pray; pray and speak forth His words of Life.
Hold fast to the nail pierced Hands of the King and when all is said and done, the Blood shed for true believers will prevail. Guard your heart, guard your mind and cease from the wickedness of the lust of this world. He is greater then the darkness but you are the vessel that lights the way. Awake, for the day has dawned.
Be Blessed

HIS NAIL PIERCED HANDS.
By
June Potter
Calling from deep within her spirit, her head bowed and eyes closed, her thoughts which became finely tuned words floating on the wings of the wind, captured every single aspect of nature and its surrounds. O to be amongst the flowers so delicate; so in tune to their own season of spouting forth new buds; their magnificent moment of blossoming and the death but new beginning of seed time.
To behold the glorious colours carefully painted upon the fragile, yet strong petals… never questioning their ability to bloom as that of infinite beauty. Sending forth their exquisite aroma thus calling forth the insects…the bees awaiting their own time to come and feast. Standing tall, swaying backwards when dancing to the flowing wind so gracefully free, every stem knows the inner strength of what was given by Hands of power and grace.
Gazing from a far off distance so the colours of every imaginable kind, blend as one, giving the impression of the rainbow now gliding through this field of glory and immense beauty. To rest but a while amongst this creation of extreme wealth surely would infuse her spirit with the inner knowledge that just as He made and looks after the flowers…here today and gone tomorrow… so He will grant her the wisdom that she too has a season of blooming in all that has been given; no matter that which has been stolen there amongst those of harsh and grievous ways.
Beyond this amazing field of multiple colours so alight in full bloom, lies the River of Life beckoning her to take those steps forward that were needed so as to be washed and cleansed from all that has caused her inner soul so much pain. Pain brought on by simply watching those all around about her take the road that in the end will lead to destruction and a spirit that will fall under the deceptive belief of never been held accountable for what was and will be without the need for repentance.
To see the shadow of him who blocks all that is pure and of heavenly beauty cast its web of darkness around minds so open due to the lust of the flesh and the greed of riches, has, but for what is now, no longer a mere moment in time but days, months and years of ongoing inner pain; for when the call has been to warn and take the place on the wall of seeking the One who knows and brings all things to pass, the burden becomes too heavy and rest of the spirit is that of utmost importance.
The gentle cascading of the waters flowing over the pebbles and stones utters its call through sounds of refreshment, not only for the birds of the air and the animals drinking from its constant well of cleansing, but also reaches her heart so alone and without…no human spirit even attempting to give forth that caress of reassurance that it will indeed be well once more with her soul and her spirit shall take flight and soar as the eagle above all the dark clouds for He who knows and created all things has promised to cleanse and refill a heart that longs for His touch of grace and mercy.
Grace has cleansed the waters; grace has opened the well of refreshment to one and all but the secret to unlocking its treasure is a heart that cries out to the One whose Blood was shed; who gave His all for this moment in time…a lost, longing cry from one who sees no way forward. The River of Life sparkles with the ability to change lives…lives now aware that without this cleansing and washing in crystal clear waters, there is no life but only a way forward filled with internal and eternal darkness, having no choice but to forever submit to the fierce fiery flames of continual burning.
The Hand…the nail pierced Hand reaches out from above and beyond, knowing no time span; allowing no boundaries to bring to a halt that which has been decided. To His forlorn and longing child so He reaches down and carries her to His graceful and tender heart of compassion and everlasting love. Holding her close He reassures her that nothing and no one has the power or ability to remove Him from her side…has He not promised her that never will He turn a blind eye to her cry for deliverance from this torment that crashes from seemingly nowhere so as to break her spirit. Is there anything too hard for Him?
Is there any mountain that she will not be able to climb over nor any valley so filled with moments of unbearable pain and sorrow that He can not deliver and set her free from? Daggers that have been plunged so deep that every continual drop of blood has but turned to that of hardness, unable to be washed off by mere human hands is nothing for the One who cleanses and makes all things new in His Divine appointed time.
Security…how the heart has cried…begged for security…that deep inner knowledge that regardless of human faults and flaws; brokenness in places and insecurities that bring on the worst possible fears, she will always be safe. Safe… a word so easily spoken yet not given, for to promise the treasured gift of safety to another, there surely must be that offering of a love that lasts forever? You are mine…His words are no longer mere words but a knowing within her spirit for when Love Divine speaks it is that of the raging storm yet filled with the tenderness of the dove and the touch of infinite mercy all in one.
Flowing as the tune of forgiveness and the touch of been held as that of a longed for new born, so every fear, every inner insecurity must bow in surrender to this new God given life of grace.
A belonging never felt before fills her spirit now so in tune to His beauty; His majestic omnipotent being. Peace flows, as the River of Life cleanses, thus opening her eyes to the ongoing splendour of His creation in which He tells His story to all of nature in full bloom; to the birds of the air and to those who call out with a heart desperate for but a touch of His nail pierced Hand. In His time He makes all things beautiful…

OUR SOUL CRIES OUT TO YOU.
By
June Potter
Oh Lord may our hearts pant after you; may our spirit crave the longing of forgiveness so that we may come boldly into your throne room of grace. May our days be such that we can say it is indeed well with our soul. No other can fill our hearts in the way you can for man has but feet of clay and to depend on him surely leads us into a territory of the unknown. Nothing is hid from you for your eyes roam the world, searching and seeking those who desire more of you. Let our lives represent you on this earth…we are so far from perfection and still have so much to learn about your wisdom and knowledge but take this into consideration, precious Lord Jesus…please. Your very own disciples were men who struggled with human frailties but you knew their inner most being and together with your guidance and power they overcame and brought drastic change to a world then in a mess. Right now Lord we need your grace; your unconditional love deep within our hearts so as to reach the lost, the grieving, those in bondage to falsehoods…we cannot do this alone and with hearts of flesh. Jesus…Lord Jesus lover of our souls, grant unto us your patience and understanding of those so against your Word; that we may discern from where they are coming instead of casting them aside as of no value. Everyone is of value to you Lord. The skies above reveal the intense beauty of your amazing heart; the brightness of the sun showers us with the eternal light living within you. Every flower flourishes due to the crystal clear rain sent from above thus allowing the new seeds given in time to spread far and wide giving yet again the knowledge that in His time He makes all things beautiful. Nature in her full splendour and glory cries out to one and all that without your love there would surely be no trees of magnificent strength, nor waterfalls cascading down with your wondrous call of eternal power. Grace came and grace created all that is and will forever be. As the covering of night falls so every star sparkles and glows in its allotted place knowing that nothing will ever diminish their light for your hand provides the safety net on which they rest there so far above in the heavenlies. Time knows her way forward for time is in tune with you and is giving us a chance to lay down our lives unto you so that we may have the privilege of picking them up once more but as your child of infinite grace. Open our hearts Lord; take away the heart of stone and turn it towards you for in ourselves we can do nothing. Slaves are we, caught in chains until every sin is washed clean by your ever flowing pure holy Blood. Mercy we need for mercy is what you showed us when you took our place on the Cross and without its presence we are harsh and judgemental. May our eyes behold the wonder and glory of what is awaiting us when you call us home to be with you forever. Fear is no longer; pain has fallen from our once fragile bodies; peace that we searched for in everyway belongs now to us and the tears that washed our faces on a regular basis have forever gone. Holy holy are you Lord, maker of heaven and earth; King of Kings and Lord of Lords; Almighty…faithful and true. We long for your touch…we cry out for your presence as there is only one true God; one who satisfies the soul and restores the spirit to that what it was before the fall of man. We bow in submission, knowing you are with us and soon and oh very soon, we shall be held in your arms of power, strength and pure everlasting love, never again to worry about what time holds for us but perfectly safe and secure in you. Jesus our Lord and Saviour.
Greetings

June a born again dear lady has influenced the lives of our family in a very special way
Be blessed as you read her sharing her experiences and the Word of God
TO BE DELIVERED. A subject that definitely is not too popular in the church of today but one that is part of the restoration work of the Holy Spirit is that of deliverance from evil spirits. Very seldom does one hear anything concerning this as most people consider it a no go conversation yet it is spoken about many times in His Word. His children must grasp that we are called to do spiritual warfare against “the spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.” (Eph. 6 v 12) It is the object of demon spirits to invade and indwell human bodies. By indwelling a person they obtain a greater advantage in controlling that person than when they are working from the outside. Born again Christians are not able to be “possessed” which is a word meaning “total ownership” as he is owned by Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1 v 18 and 19 says “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold…but with the precious Blood of Christ.” 1 Cor. 6 v 19 and 20 says “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For you are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” We as His children should always consider indwelling demons as unnecessary and undesirable trespassers. A trespasser is one who unlawfully and stealthily encroaches upon the territory of another. They can continue their unlawful practices until they are confronted and challenged on the basis of one’s legal rights.(Jesus has purchased the believer with His own Blood and has made him a steward over his own life.) The devil has no legal right to him and has to leave if one is totally serious about being free. James 4 v 7 “…resist the devil and he will flee from you. ” Let us take note and remember that demon spirits provide nothing good but only defile and they are our spiritual enemies thus we need to deal with them in spiritual warfare. Eph. 6 v 10-12 says “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” 2 Cor. 10 v 3-4 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.” Satan’s tactic is to put pressure on us and he does this in the areas of our thought life, emotions, decision making and our physical bodies. So often one turns to sleeping pills etc but the Lord’s remedy for victory is spiritual warfare. We need to spiritually discern what it is we are up against and this comes about as we seek the Lord with our whole heart. Please understand one very important thing. Satan is not your friend, he hates you and will do anything to destroy the good work the Lord started in you. John 10 v 10 says “The thief(satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” This is completely the opposite to what Jesus has to say. He has come to give us Life Abundantly. How do we as His beloved children open the door to evil spirits? Through our own personal weakness? No, as stated here in the beginning, we do not become “possessed” by satan as we are His but there is a hole in the hedge which could have originated by lying such as is written in Acts 5 v 3 “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the piece of the land?” Ananias and Sapphira had sold their property that they might give the full proceeds for the benefit of the Church. But they became covetous and decided to keep part of the money for themselves. In order to cover up their act they perpetrated a lie. Peter received a supernatural word of knowledge as to what they had done. Thus they opened themselves to the devil to be filled with spirits of covetousness, lying and deceit. This can happen to anyone who sins wilfully! If we have hatred, strife, envy, anger etc deep within that has not been dealt with then these fleshly issues tend to work together in a relationship with demon spirits. When the door has been opened by the sin of omission, for example, a refusal to forgive someone, we are turned over to the “tormentors”. Jesus paid such a price for the forgiveness of our sins, thus we are to forgive others from our hearts. Unforgiveness opens the door to the torment of resentment, hatred, even bitterness. These spirits then defile, not only us, but those we are in contact with on a daily basis. We need to arise from the slumber we are in, even as His children, thus realising that we can experience areas where we are in need of being set free from demonic spirits. Areas that we may struggle with. No number of pills, alcohol etc will rid us of demon attacks if we have wilfully opened the door due to the works of the flesh. Jesus has defeated satan and every demon but we are to humble ourselves and with the help of the Holy Spirit surrender ourselves so that deliverance can take place if need be. Victory has been assured!
HIS DIVINE SYMPATHY AND MERCY
Dear fellow believer, have you been experiencing times of despondency? Are there those days when without warning, the very core of your being cries out unto the Lord and the deep anguish of your soul leaves you in tears? So many of His beloved children are going through times of distress, wondering what has happened to them and their walk.
The joy that had at one time been as bright as the sun’s rays shining down on all of creation, has disappeared, whether due to sudden physical issues or circumstances beyond their control. In His Word we are told that even the great men of God had moments of deep despondency. This inner struggle is nothing new to our Heavenly Father.
Moses in Numbers 11 v 15 cried out unto the Lord “…kill me I pray thee…” He sought death for things had become too heavy for him. Joshua too was despondent and began murmuring, plus experienced unbelief coupled with discouragement. (Jos 7 v 7) In 1 Kings 19 v 4 we read that Elijah had the same feeling deep within as Moses. He wanted to die. Luke 24 v 17 lets us know that even the disciples went through their moments of despondency and days of darkness. We are not alone in our afflictions and struggles.
The Lord tells us in 2 Kings 20 v 5 “…I have seen thy tears; I will heal thee.” He has this tender and merciful Divine sympathy for human frailties and sorrows. Psalm 78 v 39 says “For He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.” Isaiah 63 v 9 says “In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them, and bare them, and carried them all the days of old.” We are so blessed to know that we are never alone and never forgotten by the Lord. Heb 4 v 14 says “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, that is passed into the Heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession(faith)…v 15 For we have not a High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” We as His children are encouraged “to come boldly unto His throne of grace, and thus to obtain grace to help in time of need.” Heb 4 v 16.
The Bible tells us how our precious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was full of compassion for the multitude. (Matt 9 v 36; 14 v 14; 15 v 32.) His tender and merciful love extended to the unfortunate (Matt 20 v 34.) And also to the bereaved (Luke 7 v 13 and John 11 v 35.) As we meditate on the love and compassion of the Lord written within His Word, so we can be assured that He will be there for us during our trials and heartaches. He never changes.
When we are in deep anguish and no one understands the depth of our inner pain or sees our tears, He says to us in Psalm 91 v 15 “He shall call upon me, and I WILL answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.” What a wonderful promise from the Great I AM! How we are loved; how graciously He reveals Himself to us. Isaiah 65 v 24 gives us an amazing word of promise; a most powerful reflection of His Majesty. “And it shall come to pass, that BEFORE they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
Dear friends, you are so important and valuable to our Heavenly Father; to our Lord Jesus Christ and the blessed Holy Spirit. Do not turn away from Him when despondent and in distress but continue your journey together with him, staying close to His side, forever abiding in Him. “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15 v 7.) The Lord bless and keep you…you are loved.
Fondest regards,
June
